A key feature of these units is the Automatic Belt Tensioning (ABT) system. Here there are two Kevlar® banded belt tensioning systems working in unison. As the torque on the drive increases, the belts tighten. As the torque is reduced, the belt eases up.
LVPS also utilizes newly available lightweight continuous composite rod that is not reactive to CO2 or H2S corrosion and resists most chemicals. This lighter weight rod string allows for a smaller motor, saving energy.
Our LVPS system includes the ECO2 pumping units, which have been designed as an economical and ecological alternative to the large traditional pumping units used today. Since many of the small parts are cut out from the horse head, this unit has less than five percent waste in materials. The ECO2 can run on either available grid power or an alternate power source, making power consumption minimal.
Wells that benefit most from this cutting edge technology include remote locations that require small and quiet equipment, with depth ranges of 1,000 feet to 8,000 feet.
Additional Features:
- Reduction in maintenance costs
- Pump service is easily done with simple spool rig
- Can prevent fluid pound problems with controlled pumping, minimizing rod and tubing wear
- Strokes per minute easily adjusted
