After extensive research and testing, John Crane Production Solutions introduces the Automated Prime Mover. Our APM is a clutched, timed, drop-in engine assembly that is easily installed on a conventional pumping unit. The easy to use controller allows the APM to have multiple stop/start cycles each day, which include engine start, warm up, engage the clutch, disengage the clutch, and shut down.
APM 13
The APM 13 is our most compact, economical model. Specifically built for use in shallow wells or small pump jacks, this mover is easy to set and user friendly. Motor changes are quick and simple with little effort. Unlike our other APM models which use liquid-cooled engine systems, the APM 13 utilizes an air-cooled engine design further lowering investment costs. 
 
APM 25
The APM 25 is our 25 horsepower, most fuel-efficient mover. Its superior clutch design, heavier duty 1 1/8" stub shafts and new style bearings make this mover our best seller and more durable and reliable than that of our competition. Increased rigidity of the engine block provides less noise and vibration in this APM for a smoother overall run.
 
APM 100
The APM 100 is the super heavy-duty mover for massive fluid production. Comparable to the larger, more bulky units, the APM 100's efficient design allows for more power output with less overall weight per unit. This APM is smooth running due to an additional balance shaft built into the motor. Here 130 horsepower comes standard, with a minimum of a 3 groove C Band Belt capable of 75 belt horsepower. A heavier duty clutch assembly of 1 3/4" compared to 1 1/4" standard APM stub shaft means a stronger, more durable run with less downtime.
