Gas Well Dewatering: Large or Small

Published: 11/28/2007

John Crane Production Solutions offers products for both large jobs and small. Our LVPS is a micro pumping gas well dewatering system that relies on solar power entirely and works best for small amounts of fluid extractions where pumping is measured in gallons per day rather than barrels. This system gathers sunlight and charges a trunk of batteries including back-up charging for non-sun days.

Our Lightning Auto Loader is also used to dewater gas wells. This system utilizes soap sticks to evacuate the fluid and can function without an operator onsite. The Auto Loader can hold up to 23 soap sticks at a time and can launch up to 144 times in a two-week period. It can be loaded from the ground and tubing can be cleared without having to dismantle the launcher should a stick become lodged. This product has been offered by JCPS for over 10 years and is currently functional from Canada to Mexico including some offshore applications.
